History of the Tiranga
During India’s freedom struggle, various flag designs were proposed as symbols of unity and resistance. Over time, leaders and freedom fighters worked towards a design that could represent the spirit of all Indians. The current form of the National Flag was adopted on 22 July 1947, shortly before India’s independence.
